Finding Our
Vantage Point

Why Vantage Point Matters

Across Tarrant County, families and school leaders are asking for more support for boys. They want programs that strengthen learning and academic success, build confidence, encourage healthy friendships, and help young men see a path toward their future.

Vantage Point is the newest mentorship and leadership initiative of The YouthVantage Alliance. Designed for boys and young men in grades 3 through 12, the program focuses on building strong connections and future-ready skills that set students up for long-term success.

Learning from Success

We have a powerful advantage as we grow this work. Our sister organization, Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, has spent nearly 50 years empowering youth through mentorship, leadership development, and supportive environments where young people discover their strengths and grow with confidence. Tarrant County Kids has also partnered with families for more than four decades, providing safe, affordable childcare and academic enrichment that supports social and emotional development.

We’re applying what we’ve learned in our organization: when young people feel supported and believed in, they grow into their inherent strengths. Boys thrive when they have the tools, role models, and project-based learning that build confidence and help them see their future more clearly. It’s the kind of progress where everyone benefits. A rising tide really does lift all ships.

Where We’re Leading Right Now

Our first pilot sites are active in partnership with two districts committed to meaningful support for boys:

• HF Stevens Middle School — Crowley ISD
Leadership mentoring that helps boys build confidence and gain the tools to stay engaged in school and map out their future.

• AV Cato Elementary & Irma Marsh Middle School — Castleberry ISD
STEM-based mentoring with hands-on learning, teamwork, and real experiences that fuel curiosity and set students up to achieve.

Together with these campuses, we are giving boys what they need to thrive: strong role models, structure, and a clear belief in what’s ahead.

More Opportunity. More Futures. More Wins for Our Community.

Our mission across The YouthVantage Alliance is simple: empower children and teens to discover their full potential.

  • Girls Inc. of Tarrant County continues to inspire girls to grow up strong, smart, and bold.
  • Tarrant County Kids continues to partner with families to provide safe, affordable childcare and academic enrichment while developing social skills.
  • And Vantage Point is now reaching boys and young men with programs that help them stand taller, see farther, and discover what’s possible.

One Alliance. More ways to help youth succeed.
